Train Accidents
Railroad grade crossings can be hazardous and the danger is significantly greater in rural areas where there are little or no warnings. Although motorists have a duty to stop, look and listen at a crossing, railroad operators must provide proper warnings and train operators must operate the train in a safe manner. Unfortunately, many people have been injured or killed at crossings in north Alabama. In our experience railroads will only install proper warning devices after and injury or death has occured and a lawsuit is filed.
We have handled many cases involving truck and car wrecks at railroad grade crossings. The results we have obtained provide money for the victims or their families and we hope to provide safer conditions at all crossings..
